Bernardo Pimentel II is a Trial Attorney with over six years of experience in criminal and civil litigation. His current areas of focus include General Federal and State litigation, Automobile Negligence, Products Liability, E-Cigarette Litigation, and Asbestos Litigation. He is admitted to practice law in both State and Federal Courts in Florida.
Before joining Leesfield Partners, Mr. Pimentel was a Partner at Cole, Scott, and Kissane, a civil litigation defense law firm, for over three years. In this role, which he rose to after just a little over a year with the firm, he represented the interest of companies across the state. In joining Leesfield Partners he has switched sides, choosing to fight on behalf of the individual and face the types of clients he used to represent head-on.
Before that, He served as an Assistant Public Defender for the Eleventh Judicial Circuit for Miami-Dade County where he saw criminal proceedings through, from initial arrest to verdict. In this role, as in any future endeavors, he helped guide his clients through legal jargon and advocated on their behalf to provide them representation that surpassed expectations through his meticulous research and creative legal strategy. Prior to his work with the Eleventh Judicial Circuit, Mr. Pimentel was an Associate Attorney for the Law Offices of Pimentel and Castillo where he began as an intern. While there, he focused primarily on Criminal Defense, Family Law, and General Litigation.
Mr. Pimentel earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Miami School of law in 2017.
